or call us at 860-628-6454. *****TIPSnet will be taking a hiatus for the summer***** Watch the TIPSnet.org web site and your email from the TIPSdiscussion group for our restart date in Mid-September and the other particulars. Don't forget, you can always reach Anne or John @ 860-628-6454 for details during the summer for any questions you might have, remember this is your Net. Tad KT1NG, will also be busy fielding Summer questions as the TIPS Answer Man reach him at kt1ng@att.net or via phone at 860-779-1626 then *2. Anne, Tad and John want to thank all of our TiPSnet participants, check-ins, guests, trustees, repeater operators, computer administrators for the almost 4 straight years. We have had a TIPSnet every Tuesday night and we have enjoyed leading the Net - a gathering place to share ideas with fellow Hams. The Nets history would not be complete without mentioning Randy N1PTB and Kevin KA6PTG who started TIPSnet almost 10 years ago... Anne and Dorrie took over TIPS almost 5 years ago -- so you see its a long history of Tuesday's. More of a reason we want to take the summer off.... BTW the question we teased with part of the Winter. What significance did N1JMM have with the first weeks of TIPSnet -- He acted as a relay from a hilltop for Randy and Kevin so they could reach the main repeater system at KB1AEV in Vernon.... NOW on to the FUN SUBJECT ----- Summer Vacation -- See you all in Mid-September..... Anne, John and Tad....
